The Scammell Register (founded in 1983)

Scammell Register Newsletter

All Members receive, as part of their membership, a quarterly Newsletter to which they are encouraged to contribute.Newsletter cover

The aim of the Newsletter is to provide a wide variety of Scammell related information to Members and keep them in touch with the Register and its activities.

Normally running to 36 pages, plus a four page colour section, the Newsletters contain a wide range of articles, news items, snippets of information and Scammell Mart, where Members can advertise items for sale or wanted. Photographs from the Register's extensive collection are often included. We are currently publishing an extremely comprehensive history of Scammell and its products, beginning in 1817 and working up to closure in 1988. In October 2009, we had reached 1948 with Part 14, The Explorer.

All contributions to the Newsletter, no matter how brief, are welcome. If you would like to contribute, please contact the editor, John Collins.

The Newsletter is the ideal way to keep you informed on everything Scammell!

Members can purchase back copies and two samples can be viewed or downloaded, see below.
